Delicious
Okay, so I have been looking into the Delicious website and I was disappointed to find out that they only use Yahoo accounts. :( I already have three email accounts, on top of various other log in accounts and personally, I do not want to have to add another site to the list. Is there any way around this? Do other sites provide the same function, but accept other email accounts? I would really like to use Delicious, but I feel wary about giving another site my personal information.

'Fraid that you do need to set up a Yahoo id. If you don't give it out to anyone, you never need to check the email accounts. I have several email accounts that I never use.

I agree with you Ashley! I tried to get onto Delicious and had to put in for a Yahoo account. Once I got in, I realized that I really didn't much like the program anyway. But, this puts me up to four email accounts as well! So much for a quiet digital identity! This past semester my name has been spread all over the web!
ReplyDeleteFor the assignment to search using delicious and google, you didn't need an account to use delicious. Your reflection on the search was to be posted on the discussion board.
